See relevant discussion on this topic in https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/HELP-15412 . maxBSONDepth is not currently documented and thus will not be updated. MaxBSONDepth its relevant to a subset of our users, but realistically is more important for our engineers to know. Closing ticket as "Wont Fix"
