 Description

Description

There are cases when the mongod process can take more than 90 seconds to start and it triggers a timeout in the systemd.

In a recent case the oplog was 1TB and the startup process took more than the default timeout.

We suggested editing the mongod.service appending the TimeoutStartSec

/usr/lib/systemd/system/mongod.service
++TimeoutStartSec=600

Would it worth be documented?

Per the comments, this ticket is related to troubleshooting for only a small subset of customers. Closing due to lack of user demand and because the docs don't currently include troubleshooting information, though we may pick this up in the future.
