Hi kanika.singla, Just want to share a little context about how the sample data mechanism works. The data is just a mongodump of the dataset (sampledata.archive and sampledata.archive.gz) which sits in an S3 bucket owned by the Education team. When users load the sample data, Atlas accesses the bucket and performs a mongorestore to the user's cluster. I'm not familiar offhand with how to set up triggers or listeners on S3 buckets (perhaps a Lambda function?) and unfortunately don't have bandwidth for this right now. I agree on the importance here and will keep the ticket open. For now there are only two people that update the sample dataset, myself and nathan.leniz. I'll make sure any changes to the sample dataset are coordinated with you and the Curriculum team. It seems to be around one update and one addition of a new dataset per year. Cheers, |
