 Description

On http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/reference/method/db.printReplicationInfo/ it states:

This function will return db.printSlaveReplicationInfo() if issued against a secondary set member.

This doesn't seem to be happening.

Issue SERVER-2616 seems to indicate it had been fixed to perform as described in the docs.

I believe the manual pages just need to be updated. In the current version it now makes sense to be able to fetch replication info from any node.
