Correct, it shouldn't be necessary for patch release since the URL for the documentation is the same. So for example: Patch version update: 2.10.0 -> 2.10.1 would still docs-domain.com/2.10/some_page.html Minor version update: 2.10.0 -> 2.11.0 would change to docs-domain.com/2.11/some_page.html and therefore requires updating the URLs. Similarly, we only document minor versions in compatibility tables as they should apply to any patch release within that minor version (as long as we follow semantic versioning).
