There are no references to wtimeout=0 in the documentation, although it is mentioned in the Java driver, which comes up in the docs search. A zero wtimeout value will cause the GLE request to wait indefinitely. A positive value is the number of milliseconds to wait. I'm unsure what the default wtimeout is (the PHP driver uses 10000ms), but we should also document that if there is a global default. I'm also unsure how negative values are interpreted (perhaps that also implies infinity?), but it would be reasonable to check with a server developer on that. |

the default is to wait forever, as near as I understand it. |
