 Description

the 4.4 documentation for mongod:

[https://docs.mongodb.com/v4.4/reference/program/mongod/#std-option-mongod.–shutdown|https://docs.mongodb.com/v4.4/reference/program/mongod/#std-option-mongod.--shutdown

and

https://docs.mongodb.com/v4.4/reference/program/mongod/#std-option-mongod.--shutdown

inform users that there is a --shutdown option   for the mongod process , that allows a user to terminate mongod.

however, when trying to use this option we got:

mongo_local % mongod --shitdown
Error parsing command line: unrecognised option '--shitdown'
try 'mongod --help' for more information

additionally -  running   :

mongod --help

doesnt show a shutdown  option  in the available options

it is possible that the option is obsolete, and should be removed from the documentation

Thanks

DRor

There is a typo on the mongod option. This command works in v4.4.
