 Description

The MongoDB Production Notes describe the following x64_64 microarchitecture requirement:

MongoDB requires the following minimum x86_64 microarchitectures:

For Intel x86_64, MongoDB requires Sandy Bridge or later.
For AMD x86_64, MongoDB requires Bulldozer or later.

Our underlying requirements for Intel CPUs are more specific: we need AVX instruction support which is not available in all Intel CPUs Sandy Bridge or newer. Generally the CPUs should also be designated as Core i3/i5/i7/i9: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions#CPUs_with_AVX

andrew.feierabend - Sure, that copy sounds reasonable. I think you will need to make do with the wiki link for now. There is no such server README.
