We recently released version 2.0.0 of the Rust driver, so the compatibility matrix needs to be updated. The driver can successfully connect to and work with MongoDB 3.6+ (including 5.0), but is still missing some features. New features that are now supported:

The new minimum supported Rust version is now 1.48. The existing examples are still valid. |

Based on the diff in the above PR, it looks like the note about not supporting explicit sessions and transactions is still there, but it can be removed now. |
