The page for ObjectId (https://docs.mongodb.com/v4.4/reference/method/ObjectId/) says that there is a 5-byte random value. Clarify that this random value is generated once at startup and is not random for each ObjectId. |

Thanks for the opening this, louis.williams! I see you reference the v4.4 docs. I see that the v5.0 docs also use the same language. Does this issue affect only v4.4 or are other versions affected? Thanks! |
