| Description |
|
Currently insight / intelligence around documentation feedback and usage is fragmented and very hard to use. This project is an effort to unify the 2 main data sets that surround documentation resources into a simple single view web application.
MongoDB documentation currently has 2 main data sources to support user engagement and sentiment.
Google Analytics, is used to track website activity such as session duration, pages per session, bounce rate etc. of individuals using the site, along with the information on the source of the traffic.
User Feedback Widget, is a database hosted on MongoDB Atlas with a collection deluge.newWidetVotes that hosts all user feedback from the live documentation pages.

This is an older skunkworks project Ian had been working on. We'll close this and open a new ticket if we revisit the idea in the future. |
