 Description

Google chrome has started auto-compelating search for MongoDB. (Version 95.0.4638.69 MacISOS)

Typing "docs.mongodb.com " into the Chrome Bar will create a search query.

This leads to https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/?query=update
Which seems to be a blank placeholder
Instead of
https://docs.mongodb.com/search/?q=update
Which provides actual search results.

I assume a redirect from the former to the later would easily fix this Chrome behavior.

I'm going to close this as won't fix. The reason is that this ticket is not really within the scope of documentation work. While I might typically reassign this to the documentation platform team, they have been doing significant work on search already, and much more is in the immediate pipeline so I believe this ticket can be closed. Please reach out if you have any concerns.

Moving this to the Docs backlog. Note that to replicate using Kevin's steps, you have to insert a space between the subdomain URL and the query term (i.e., docs.mongodb.com update)
