 Description

As per the feedback we've received from users, the API changes for the Scala driver are hard to figure out. There appears to be two main issues:

  • At present the API changes for both, the Reactive Streams and for the Scala drivers, are documented under the same link. While the Scala driver is built on top of Reactive Streams and changes in the latter would most likely translate into the API changes in the Scala driver, it is too much burden on the users to figure out what's applicable and what is not
  • The detail of the changes seems less than desired

A/C
Specify whether 4.0 driver breaking changes apply to Reactive Streams, Scala drivers or both.

Hi ross@mongodb.com, we don't currently handle any of the Scala documentation. If you can provide us with what you'd like to add (to only the most recent version of the GitHub docs), we can publish that. Otherwise, maybe there's another way to communicate this?

Hi dmitry.ryabtsev, could you please copy over or add a link to the user feedback on this ticket? It might be helpful to read their words.
