Documentation at https://www.mongodb.com/docs/manual/tutorial/backup-and-restore-tools/states that 'You can also query a continuous backup snapshot.'. If this means creating a custom query this is incorrect, if this means selecting a point in time it could be correct but I would use different phrasing. I think queryable backups for customers means the possibility to (partly) restore data (a selection of collection(s) or database(s)) from a backup, as was possible with the legacy backups, but that is not the case here. |
