| Description |
|
There has been some interest/questions around how to use ConfigProviders in Kafka to securely store connection strings for use with the MongoDB Kafka connector. We should add an item to the Security and Authentication menu. "Using ConfigProviders" that discusses how to securely store MongoDB connection strings and credentials using Kafka Connect's Config Providers Reference: https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/KAFKA-322 https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/HELP-34950

Yes looking to get added one addition menu item under the Security section. This menu item will document how to use the Kafka Connect ConfigProvider to store connection strings securely and how to configure the source/sink connector to reference those credentials stored in the configprovider.

robert.walters@mongodb.com could you provide some more details on what you are looking for to get added here? Is there a specific procedure/method/etc. that you want documented? |
