The tutorial reads "In addition to the general "help" command, you can call help on db and db.whatever", but `whatever` isn't explained.

The parenthetical explanation seems sufficient. Minor nit: there's a comma before the closing parens.

Also, unless "whatever" is a convention, maybe "collection" would be more self-explanatory?

As in, "you can call help on db and db.collection to see a summary of methods available".
