Original Downstream Change Summary The server status fields repl.stateTransition.userOperationsKilled and repl.stateTransition.userOperationsRunning will be renamed to omit the word "user", as the metrics report not only user stats but also system stats. I've already filed the relevant DOCS / STAR tickets. See the links on Description of Linked TicketThe repl.stateTransition.userOperationsKilled statistic gets incremented when an operation is killed for step up/step down, but does not take into account whether that operation was a user operation or a system operation. Thus the name of the statistic is a bit of a misnomer since it counts all operations killed for state transition, not just user operations. |
