You need to run a mongo shell from a build MongoDB that includes support for SSL. At the moment the only builds that include support for SSL are: MongoDB Enterprise (http://www.10gen.com/products/mongodb-enterprise) and builds of standard MongoDB compiled with "scons --ssl". By default the 10gen builds of SSL do not have ssl SSL support enabled by default. I hope this clears up the confusion. |
