 Description

On this doc page:
http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/tutorial/manage-mongodb-processes/

It says you can shutdown mongod with the --shutdown option but that appears to not be an option any longer so it should be removed.

the bug with the docs is that --shutdown isn't in the OS X version of MongoDB. we should test this to confirm (or just look at the source) and then modify the docs in the reference pages and this tutorial as needed.
