The behavior change is this:
In 2.4, attempting to call getLastError with w:majority in a master/slave configuration would result in an error, since there is no concept of "majority" in master/slave since there is no failover.

In order to make some new shell helpers for administration of authentication work properly and with simple code changes, we decided that w:majority will no longer be an error for master/slave. Instead, it will treat it like w:1 and provide a field in the returned object, "wnote", with an explanatory message.
