 Description

We have three guides for getting started with Rails. I believe that all of them could use either updates or even a complete rewrite.

It probably makes sense to add the new guides to the new docs project.

Okay, closing this, to be torn out and replaced with the new material.

driver-ruby, how badly outdated is this stuff (I'm guessing pretty badly)?

michael.paik, we're working on integrating the 2.0 Ruby driver with Mongoid 5. That will almost certainly make all of this obsolete.

Yep, thanks Sam.

Does it make sense to give these to emily.stolfo@10gen.com?

Great,

I would love to update these and spread the news when they are fresh!

The guides that Ross did for python may serve as a good basic example for this kind of material.
