Potentially worth adding a note to $pullAll that it removes all occurrences of the given values from the array, not just the first/last.
Potentially worth adding a note to $rename that it does not preserve order inside a document, i.e. a renamed field may move within the document or subdocument.
Can we add a note to the $pop documentation that any non -1 value pops the last element? It's not at all intuitively obvious that something like
db.coll.update({n:0}, {$pop:{x:0}})
or
db.coll.update({n:0}, {$pop:{x:{$ne:3}}})
will pop the last element.
I will update this with more information later.
Breaking Changes:
- No longer support saving dotted field names
- No longer allow updating $prefix field names
- No updates result in empty field names
- Only update documents once (used to update dups from geo queries)
Changes (not sure if breaking):
