| Description |

The current documentation suggest "In almost every situation you should not set this value and use the default setting.", but in certain situations it can be useful to set either a longer or a short sync delay. It could be useful to discuss briefly the upside or downside to setting a different syncDelay (more flushes for shorter periods per flush/less flushes for more per flush) and the implication on disk activity. |
