| Description |
|
By design, one can't rely on a point on the boundary of a polygon to be inside or outside the polygon. For example, if a line has an endpoint with the same coordinates as a corner of a square, we don't specify whether $geoIntersects will consider the two shapes intersecting or not: MongoDB will sometimes consider them intersecting, sometimes not, depending on the numbers involved. This should be clarified in the manual so that users know of this behavior. |
