| Description |

When discussing projection against array fields, the documentation needs to explicitly state that {"a.0":1} syntax can't be used to project array values (in addition to pointing users to $slice / $elemMatch, as it currently does). |

I was attempting to project an array element and found it was not working and did not find any mention of the problem in the documentation. Eventually I stumbled on this ticket, I recommend updating the $project docs with this limitation: https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/reference/operator/aggregation/project/ |
