 Description

"A haystack index is a special 2d geospatial index that is optimized to return results over small areas."

What is "small areas" defined as?

  • Anything not global?
  • State-level?
  • County/City-level?
  • Street-level?
  • 10/100/1000/10,000 meters?

I guess, my suggestion is to somehow make this more clear (less subjective), if possible. Readers would be unsure if this or another technique would be more optimal for them.
