At this url: http://docs.mongodb.org/master/reference/operator/query/text/#op._S_text in the "Returning the text search score" section, it implies that one must use the {score: {$meta: "textScore"}} flag in order to see the score. I find that the text score is currently displayed by default in 2.6.0-rc1. I'm not sure if the current behavior is the intended behavior and the docs have a mistake, or if the software has a bug, but I thought I'd kick it over to you guys to start the discussion with the server team about that. |
