| Description |
|
When upgrading from 2.4 to 2.6 on Ubuntu using the mongodb-10gen/mongodb-org packages we change the config file that is used. Under mongodb-10gen we used /etc/mongodb.conf whereas the mongodb-org uses /etc/mongod.conf This needs to be documented as it is a "gotcha" for unwary users. We should review and document this process for all platforms that we provide steps for. |
