| Description |
|
The MMS Docs do not warn users against having replica sets with identical names. Both MMS Monitoring (the tree view), and Backup (all of it) get confused when replica set names are identical. Therefore, the documentation should advise users to have unique replica set names within their groups. This applies to all versions of MMS – Classic, Cloud, and OnPrem. |
