 Description

1) Bulk execute mentions the 1000 limit, where as the limit link inside this page:
http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/reference/limits/#Write-Command-Operation-Limit-Size

says: 'Write commands can accept no more than 1000 operations. The Bulk() operations in the mongo shell and comparable methods in the drivers do not have this limit.'

Which one is true?

This is very clearly delineated in the Bulk() documentation - Bulk() can handle arbitrary numbers of operations, but these are broken into contiguous groups depending on operation type. Each such group can handle 1000 operations. Works as designed.
