 Description

See linked.

(Key) Prefix compression (http://source.wiredtiger.com/2.3.1/file_formats.html) is an option that WT supports to only store a given common prefix once per page rather than over and over again. Off by default in the WT engine, on by default in MongoDB's use of WT.
