It would be great if you could specify if these instructions apply to distro's like Linux Mint (as it is derived from Ubuntu I think). I have Linux Mint and am not sure whether I should be following: Install MongoDB on Ubuntu Thank You. |

Also, the short answer is that unless you're on the specifically mentioned distros for each page, you should be following the "Other" documentation. |

Maybe an update to the phrasing "Use this tutorial to install MongoDB on Ubuntu Linux systems from .deb packages." to explicitly mention derived distros. I don't think we should mention any specific distros unless we have internal or external reports of it working with our instructions and binaries. |
