 Description

Inconsistency with the documentation. The 2.6.1 linux (CentOS) installation has the the /etc/init.d/mongod CONFIGFILE default value set to CONFIGFILE="/etc/mongod.conf" - the documentation on this page references /etc/mongodb.conf, which could be confusion if one doesnt check the contents of the /etc/init.d/mongod file

This may be true of downloads by CentOS maintainers, but the .rpms available at http://downloads-distro.mongodb.org/repo/redhat/os/x86_64/RPMS/mongodb-org-server-2.6.6-1.x86_64.rpm and http://downloads-distro.mongodb.org/repo/redhat/os/x86_64/RPMS/mongodb-org-server-2.6.1-1.x86_64.rpm (it is unclear which version you are referring to) both have the .conf file in the correct location.
