| Description |

Unable to install community packages for Fedora (tried Fedora 19, Fedora 21) due to incorrect version mapping. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux#Relationship_with_Fedora shows the mapping between RHEL and Fedora versions (RHEL 7 -> Fedora 19). |

Original "Steps to reproduce" field: On Fedora 21, follow the instructions to install 3.0 community packages at: http://docs.mongodb.org/master/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-red-hat-centos-or-fedora-linux/ After talking to samk, we think the primary solution for users in this case should be to follow the "Other Linux Systems" instructions here and we should remove Fedora from the original page since it's no longer a clean fit for Fedora in 3.0 with targeted community build packages. |

I was able to install it using the work around. Thank you! |

As a workaround, you can hardcode $releasever for the corresponding RHEL version - so for Fedora 21, this should work: baseurl=http://repo.mongodb.org/yum/redhat/7/mongodb-org/3.0/x86_64/ Or for RC's - |
