rgpublic, the easier thing to do is actually to just change the repo definition to ask for "trusty" packages rather than "$(lsb_release -sc)". |

Just for the record: For anyone on Utopic who's been stranded here on this bug like me: I solved this by downloading all .deb files from the following URL to some folder (say /usr/src/mongodb-ubuntu-packages): http://repo.mongodb.org/apt/ubuntu/dists/trusty/mongodb-org/3.0/multiverse/binary-amd64/ and then simply doing a "dpkg -i *". Admittedly, not a great solution but better than nothing. |

We should specify that we only provide LTS packages. But the 14.04 packages should work in 14.10. If we have an easy way to direct 14.10 users to the 14.04 packages, we should. jonathan.reams@10gen.com do you have an opinion? Do you think it would make sense for us to symlink the 14.04 repo directory so people with 14.10 just point to the same ones? |
