The only documentation I could find that seemed somewhat related is this page: Excessive Disk Space and this page Compact Command, but there isn't a lot there about what fragmentation is, how it happens, different workflows that can lead to more fragmentation, how to avoid it, how to detect it, what the effect of it is, and what to do about it. |
