 Description

The Perl driver compatibility matrix shows "yellow" for anything beyond 2.4, and yellow is explained as "unsupported, minor incompatibilities may exist".

http://docs.mongodb.org/ecosystem/drivers/perl/

It is of course not acceptable that we should have no driver that supports anything newer than 2.4. I talked to david.golden about it, and he clarified that the driver is in fact tested with 2.6 and fully supported by us for that version, it is just that the driver is not feature-complete wrt version 2.6, i.e. it does not take advantage of any of the new features in 2.6. But all existing features do work correctly and are tested to that effect.

This is a very different statement than "unsupported, minor incompatibilities may exist", which leaves customers completely in the dark whether they can trust that driver. The same mislabeling seems to occur for other language drivers. This needs to be fixed urgently.
