 Description

The exact definition of "you" affects what guarantees MongoDB can make about isolation, recency and consistency. The purpose of this ticket is to make sure that MongoDB documentation emphasizes that "you" may be any one of the following:

  1. A single instance of a MongoClient object in a client application
  2. A single Mongo object in the MongoDB shell (the result of calling db.getMongo())
  3. A single open socket talking to any one MongoDB server process.
