| Description |
|
All of the subsections under https://docs.mms.mongodb.com/tutorial/nav/backup-restore-deployments/ provide procedures for restoring various types of deployment, but those steps assume this is a non-managed, non-Automation-enabled cluster. The docs should be updated to handle both types of deployment, either by modifying the existing docs or by adding a set of parallel docs, one for Automation enabled clusters and one for non-managed / non-Automation-enabled clusters. |

I must have been looking at an old version of the docs when I commented here. The current docs appear to cover it correctly. |

pavel.chertorogov@gmail.com We're working to improve this tutorial literally as I type this. I've edited out the support ticket you linked to, since it's not visible to external users. It is linked on our internal panel though! Thanks. |

Somebody every hour on this planet tries to restore automation-enabled cluster ))) If automation agents is up and need restore from zero, poor administrators fight with unexpected behaviour of mongod. Because MMS-agents very treacherous! |

Closed the wrong ticket. This one is still very much in progress pending updates to the SC restore doc. |
