Please provide better instructions by providing a step by step guide to actually verifying that the mongod (user/daemon) has read write access to the /data/db/mongod.lock etc. I have to go to stackoverflow and other sources for debugging just to get up and running from basic brew install. I think this should not be a huddle a developer (who's starting to learn mongo) would need to do in order to get going. Do you guys really think this beginner friendly enough with the very sparse install instructions you provide? |
