| Description |
|
rs.add({<host>, {priority: 1}) added the host as an arbiter, rather than a member of the replica set with priority 1. The second argument of rs.add() is a boolean that determines whether or not the host will be arbiterOnly. The object {priority:1}resolved to true, causing confusion (and the server didn't throw an error message). A note in the docs about this boolean argument might be helpful. |
