 Description

This tutorial doesn't explain how to create a user and a password so I can connect to the database, also it doesn't explain what other types of firewall configurations we need to set. I tried to go with my intuition and it didn't work, lost so many hours. Please be more clear. How can I get to create my username and password to access the database?

Thanks
Thiago

Hi Thiago –
I'm glad you were able to connect. I'll close this ticket, but we'll review the docs to make sure we are clear as to the version compatibility.

Thanks for the update.

Regards,

Kay Kim

Dear Kay Kim,

I solved the problem I had to connect with the database. I think almost
everything I was trying to do was correct, but the version of the database
I had in my computer was an old one 2.4.6. That stopped me from connecting
via shell from my personal computer, and I lost many hours not
understanding the problem. I am not an experienced developer (I am an
applied scientist), that is probably one of the reasons I didn't think the
version of the dB could be an issue.

Thanks

Thiago
