The "/etc/init.d/munin-node" script is not present anymore on RHEL / Centos 7.x munin-node packages and is replaced by a SystemD service unit file. This will be probably the same on other Linux distributions that use systemd like newest Ubuntu releases. Please add a reference for this. You can run this SystemD command to confirm that the munin-node service was installed correctly:

If the munin-node service is not shown try to reload the SystemD configuration and unit files:
