 Description

The "Kernel and File Systems" section of the Production Notes has a table which lists the minimum recommended Linux kernel version for various Linux distributions.

However, some Supported Platforms and Recommended Platforms are absent from this table, which can be confusing for users of those distros.

Specifically, it would be ideal if the table also listed entries for:

  1. Debian 7.1
  2. SLES 11 SP3
  3. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
  4. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
  5. Fedora 8+ (possibly — not supported by MongoDB 3.0+, so less of a concern)
