 Description

Tutorial on enabling Internal Authentication contains magic number 741. I believe we could use 1024 number that at least looks like the valid (actually max) length for the keyfile (see https://docs.mongodb.org/manual/core/security-internal-authentication/#internal-auth-keyfile). Otherwise it is not clear why use 741 .

Please change 741 to meaningful (IMHO) number 1024.

I got it. 741 is number of bytes to feed to base64 encoder. Encoder produces more characters than bytes fed. Close the ticket.

This is where the 741 was found https://docs.mongodb.org/manual/tutorial/enable-internal-authentication/. See text

openssl rand -base64 741 > /srv/mongodb/mongodb-keyfile
