Hi – am closing as am not able to reproduce the issue using v3.2.

With inmemory storage engine:

Starting in MongoDB Enterprise 3.2, an in-memory storage engine is available in the 64-bit builds for beta-testing purposes.

And --storageEngine option should be available starting in v3.0

Hi – could you verify that you are using mongod version 3.0 or greater?

mongod --version
