 Description   

The sections How frequently does WiredTiger write to disk? and journal process say that MongoDB writes to the journal every 100 milliseconds. That number applies to MMAPv1, not WiredTiger. See SERVER-20600.

Also, the terms "journal" and "log files" are used interchangeably. It may help to use consistent terms or explain they are synonymous.
