Hello,

The $releasever variable is a Yum variable.

RHEL 6 Documentation.

RHEL 7 Documentation

It returns the release version of your deployment, such as 6 or 6server. If you visit the base URL you can see which versions have a repo available.

The linked pages on Yum variables contains a complete list of available variables. It may be helpful to familiarize yourself with them before proceeding with the installation.
