 Description

I recently upgraded to 3.2.2 and noticed that there has been significant changes to the wire protocol since 3.0. None of this is documented on the Release Notes or in the MongoDB Wire Protocol Documentation located at the following url:

https://docs.mongodb.org/manual/reference/mongodb-wire-protocol/

Please update the documentation with the new OpCode specifications ASAP as we have applications built on custom drivers that are breaking on 3.2.2.

Thanks.

RH

Opcode 2008~2011 in source code but not in documents, which should update the document.

Thanks, that is probably a more appropriate place.

Hi rhoulihan,

Did you mean to create this ticket in the JAVA project? Which covers the Java driver bugs and feature requests.

I think this should be a documentation ticket but wanted to double check. Did you know there is a link on all documentation pages to report an issue with the specific page? Look for the "The report a problem" link.

Ross
