 Description

Hi,

I ran the sc.exe create command successfully and received the
[SC] CreateService SUCCESS message.

When I try to start the service however I'm getting : The service is not responding to the control function.

If I go to services and look up the MongoDB service It's there and if I try to start it I also get an error message.

Here is my command: sc.exe create MongoDB binPath= "E:\Program Files\MongoDB\Server\3.2\bin\mongod.exe --service --config=\"E:\Program Files\MongoDB\Server\3.2\bin\mongod.cfg\"" DisplayName= "MongoDB" start= "auto"

and the config file contains the basic things

systemLog:
destination: file
path: E:\WebDevelopment\Projects\MongoLog
storage:
dbPath: E:\WebDevelopment\Projects\MongoData

all paths exists

Would you know how to solve this

Thanks
Andre Couturier
